Handmade Pottery shop -I make all my pottery by hand on the pottery wheel. Each piece is an individual creation; I do not use molds, only my hands. I love the fluid nature of wet clay and strive to capture that fluidity in the final product. Swirlies and finger marks are created in the clay as I work; those marks are forever set in stone (i.e. ceramic) by the heat of the fire!

I also love color. My brightly colored glazes are cheerful and fun-loving! My glazes and clay are food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe. My pottery is also, of course, lead-free!

Items in my handmade pottery shop are made to be used! And I hope that any piece you choose: a mug, a special bowl, or an elaborate teapot, becomes a favorite in your home!

In the handmade pottery shop, I ship quickly. Orders are given to the USPS within one business day of receiving the order. Custom orders take a lot more time. The whole process, from a lump of clay to the finished product, can take 4-8 weeks. If I rush the process cracks and blow-ups in the kiln can occur!
